My training Load

May's training has been going well. I have been able to use a variety of training to continue to prepare for Rainier. During the week, I am running 10-15 miles and biking 25-60 miles. On the weekends, I have been taking the training team hiking.

Climb to Fight Breast Cancer Training

Training for Climbing

I am just getting this started so bear with me. This is my training weight for the upcoming climb on Mt. Rainier. Hunter and Caitlyn are very dynamic loads to move up hills. We are having a great time hiking on the weekends when the weather permits.


This photo was taken coming down off Tiger Mountain several weeks ago.


This is the entire team. Carri, Hunter, Caitlyn, and Bailey are all participating in the training.
Hunter has been a great help as he likes to jump in the jogger for runs through the woods. He likes all the bumps that the many roots in this area create.
In addition to running, I have been trying to cross train on the bike. On the weekend hikes, I am going for moving weight up the hill.
